“Music of the Spheres”

Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated flautist and composer, Kat Epple,

This annual event is notorious for being an evening full of unique music, art, fun, and surprises. Kat will be playing flutes from around the world, including Celtic, Native American, African, Suling, bass flute, and will be performing with special guest musicians and performers, including: Chuck Grinnell, keyboard, DL Turner, harp, Lawrence Voytek, alternative audio, Nathan Dyke, percussion and didjeridu, Miko Amore, bass, James Taylor, mandolin. and surprise guest performers. The original music will include a variety of musical styles and moods, as it travels musically from the jungles of Africa, to a cool Celtic steam.

This fundraiser for Florida Repertory Theatre, is on Monday, May 12th, 2008 at 7pm

at the Arcade Theatre, 2267 First St, downtown Fort Myers, FL

This was a beautiful event with innovative music and a very appreciative audience. It was a joyfilled evening, although later that night, one of my dearest friends, Bob Rauschenberg, passed away. It was an intense, magical, energetic bittersweet experience.
